Pawtucket, RI – Strengthening jobs in Rhode Island and America’s national security will be the focus of a public event in Pawtucket, RI, on March 20 at 6:00 pm. 

Sponsored by the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) and hosted at the Pawtucket Armory, the event will feature U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), Brigadier General John Adams (U.S. Army, Retired), AAM President Scott Paul, Raytheon, and other local business leaders in a conversation on domestic manufacturing’s relationship to national security and job creation. 

General Adams is the author of the 335-page “Remaking American Security” report. AAM is a DC-based labor-business partnership. The speakers and Rhode Island-based panelists will analyze the current state of our defense industrial base in Rhode Island, public policy and budget challenges to job creation, and national security. Industry leaders, workforce experts, and Sen.  Reed will solicit public views on what can and should be done.
