Tricom has worked with Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM), a labor-management partnership of the United Steelworkers and several major steel companies, for more than three years. During that time, we have provided strategic counsel, media, social media, creative, advertising, marketing and special events services as part of their team.
AAM's new website was launched in September 2010. Tricom played a key role in identifying their various audiences, developing messages and defining the actions AAM would want their web users to take. The result of the collaboration is a site targeting their activists, policymakers and the media, providing extensive interaction/Web 2.0 functionality and flexibility for their staff to update content many times a day. Tricom also produces a series of video packages for AAM. We script, shoot, edit and promote videos of 10 minutes or less (as they are designed to be viewed on the web). These videos, along with TV news clips, radio interviews and podcast recordings make up the Multimedia page built as part of the new site.
All of AAM’s efforts to raise the need for American manufacturing support are resulting in greater attention from the mainstream media, more followers on their social media networks and increased calls for action on Capitol Hill.
